Join us for the Green Skills Open Day. These courses are for anyone working in post-16 education in the West Midlands and Warwickshire region. Delivered here at Fircroft College by Dr Lou Mycroft, Green Skills Facilitator.
Our mission is to ensure that all curriculum areas of FE include the green skills we need, for the future of work, life and community.
There are two courses:
Leading professional development for colleagues and influencing the green skills culture of their organisation.
You don’t have to be a teacher! These courses run on Thursdays and Tuesdays and you would need to commit to up to 40 hours in total Applications close 29th January 2024.
You will be able to apply at this open day!
You do need to be a teacher! This is a course for all teachers working in FE, to help them develop green skills in their subject specialist curriculum area and share their insight with others. We welcome biologists, vet nurses, hairdressers and maths and English specialists too – any subject area where green skills can be implemented to make a difference.
You would need to commit approximately 10 hours.
Starting Monday 29th January 2024.
