This course would be particularly interesting if you are trying to make positive changes in your own life or community or if you are considering higher levels of study in psychology and have an interest in the social sciences.

We will introduce you to the concepts of psychological positivity and explore theories of positive experiences, qualities and positivity in the community (civil positivity).

We will also consider the impact of positivity and how this can be promoted in individuals, groups and communities.

You will learn the following:

  • Theories and concepts of positive psychology,
  • The impacts of positivity
  • Methods of positive promotion
  • The application of psychological concepts to daily routines
