- What has brought different communities to Britain and where they have settled
- The trends in immigration from 1945 to present day
- Who has come to the UK, when and why?
- How immigration has changed the population make up of Britain today
- Understanding the main trends in immigration from 1945 to present day
- Understanding some of the ‘push’ and ‘pull’ factors affecting immigration
- Understanding legislation which has helped to bring communities to the UK
- The changing make up of British society
