Psychopathology is sometimes referred to as abnormal psychology and it is the study of behaviours and thoughts associated with mental ill-health. Many people in the UK report issues with mental health each year and this course will explore how psychological perspectives have attempted to describe and treat various types of mental health issues.
The course is a basic introduction to some of the common mental health issues and therapies available and it is particularly useful for someone who is interested in mental health or who is considering entering a career in mental health nursing.
