- Gave me lots of different experiences and ideas – I can take these back with me and see what works
- I’m going back to my community with the confidence that I’m doing it right
- Given my role more of a purpose and a higher profile in my organisation
- I've now got the theories to back up what I do
- Made me realise I’m much more than just a volunteer and that I can make a difference
- I was really able to connect what I learned to my project
-
Reminded me of the importance of empowering community members to empower others
