Skills for Learning
These courses help you further develop the skills you need to succeed at college and progress to a higher level.
Tutors at Fircroft will bring a variety of material from their own subjects for you to practise on.
These more advanced courses can help you complete your Certificate in Progression and are aimed at Level 2 learners who want to secure their footing before hopefully progressing on to Level 3 and possibly Higher Education after that.
If you are just setting out on your learning journey, then you may want to start off with our Gateway Course, or Skills for Life and ICT courses instead.
Further Progression
One option for people who succeed at Skills for Learning courses and want to progress further is the Access to Higher Education Diploma. Fircroft College currently offers this Level 3 step into university as a full-time FREE 30 week course.
How much does it cost?
These courses are FREE of charge if you are claiming means-tested benefits, otherwise they are just £40 per person (including all accommodation, meals, tuition and learning resources).
How can I apply?
