Gateway to Learning

The ideal starting point for adults returning to education.

We want to make sure you get the most out of your learning experience. The Gateway to Learning course is aimed at giving you the opportunity to think about what your aims and goals are and to set out a route to achieving them - by undertaking courses here at Fircroft and/or elsewhere.

During the course you will undertake an assessment of your literacy and numeracy levels as well as work with your tutor on looking at what support you need to help you achieve on courses. Having agreed your aims and goals you will be able to identify the right set of courses to get you where you want to be.

Gateway to Learning runs a number of times throughout the year.

How much does it cost?

This course is FREE of charge if you are claiming means-tested benefits, otherwise it is just £40 per person (including all accommodation, meals, tuition and learning resources).
