Fircroft College
Progression Pathway
If you have no formal qualifications, the Progression Pathway programme at Fircroft College gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and start to gain qualifications, which will help you to get on in life and in work.
It also offers the opportunity for some people to go straight to working at a higher level towards gaining a full level 2 Certificate – a qualification which is sought after and recognised by employers.
Progression Pathway courses cover the following subject areas:

- Skills for Life – the Maths and English skills you need to get on in work and life
- ICT - basic computing skills including word processing, Internet, email, spreadsheets and more
- Personal and Social Development – improving your personal wellbeing, confidence and social skills
- Skills for Learning – helping you to further develop your skills and progress to a higher level
- Surfing the Recession – NEW programme of courses designed to help you deal with monetary worries and the challenges of the recession
