Fircroft is a residential college occupying a former Cadbury family home, set in six acres of beautiful grounds in Selly Oak, Birmingham. We were originally founded to provide educational opportunities for some of the most disadvantaged and excluded members of society. One hundred years on from the birth of Fircroft College, its mission of ‘social justice’ is more relevant than ever. Fircroft is a thriving and ambitious College with a vast and diverse community of learners and a strong ethos.
Fircroft is currently in an exciting phase of improvement and development, we are now in a position to appoint a Marketing Officer to plan and deliver all aspects of the college’s marketing activity so that we achieve our targets, raise our profile and show the impact of our work. You will also write and produce effective promotional materials on-line, off-line, in video and for events. You will have the ability to analyse trends, draw conclusions and act on them, have managed successful social media accounts and have the ability to write and communicate highly effectively for different audiences. In addition, you will have high level IT skills including databases, video and digital media.
The right person will be someone who enjoys working at a fast pace with a variety of different tasks, who is self-managed with a strong work ethic, who has a positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude and is a completer / finisher.
