Forthcoming events at Fircroft College - March is Women’s History Month
Posted : 16th March 2017
A very warm welcome to Women’s History Month at Fircroft College. As spring arrives we are taking the opportunity to host a number of talks and events to celebrate women’s achievements. This is particularly important given the challenges in the external world.
The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day was #BeBoldForAChange and our Students’ Union, with support from Fircroft staff, have worked hard to organise the events you will find listed here. This is the first time this initiative (a full programme about one calendar event) has happened and we hope this is a brilliant start for other events and celebrations of diversity to happen across the year.
We hope the events will inspire conversations and actions about equality, inclusion and change in both the College and our local communities. It also is a living example of the College’s values of; Inspiring and Transformative, Inclusive and Diverse, Supportive, Collaborative and Develop and Grow.
